Sigmund Freud – The Father of Psychoanalysis

"One day, in retrospect, the years of struggle will strike you as the most beautiful". This is one of just many famous quotes from Sigmund Freud. If you're a real history buff and want to learn all about the life and works of the Father of Psychoanalysis, visiting the Sigmund Freud Museum in Vienna is a must!

With this ticket to one of the Austrian capital's most unique experiences, you'll discover what was once the home of this doctor of Jewish origin whose family were forced to flee Austria after the annexation by Nazi Germany in June of 1938. Freud died just a year later of cancer in London on the 23rd of September 1939.

Freud, naturally, is best known for his work in the field of psychoanalysis. In short, Freud's theory states the following: human actions are not always governed by conscious thoughts but are often driven by unconscious desires and experiences.
